Project Details
High Construction served as the construction manager for the renovation and addition to an existing 1980s building in Lancaster, Pa., that previously served as offices for a university.
The project included 6,500 square feet of interior renovations, a 3,500-square foot addition, exterior wall renovations, and a new courtyard. The newly transformed building, called The S. Dale High Leadership Center, celebrates the rich history of the High companies; from its humble beginning in 1931 to the present-day thriving network of companies. Inside, exposed steel trusses with Halifen rods, exposed wood tongue and groove ceilings, and museum-like displays featuring company artifacts welcome visitors.
The building also houses high-tech conference rooms, a large training room, and offices. Behind the building, a new courtyard features a two-tier decorative water fountain, a large fireplace, a built-in grill, bluestone pavers, brick pavers, and Timberframe trellises and gates.
